Mosaic is all about slowing down.

Foraging in nature,
gathering materials,
cutting them,
creating the design,
adhering the tesserae one by one.

Pausing, looking, thinking.
Allowing ideas to bubble up
when they are ready. 

It requires a lot of patience, planning, preparation and time.

It gives us a chance to get lost in the moment.
